About

CurlShot is a screenshot API: one HTTP request turns a web page into an image, a PDF or a video. WHAT IT DOES Send a URL, your own HTML, or Markdown. Get back a PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, or an MP4, WebM or GIF of the page scrolling from top to bottom. Pages render in a real browser, so what you get is what a visitor sees. WHY DEVELOPERS USE IT - The whole page: lazy images are loaded on the way down - Phones, tablets and desktops from ready-made device presets - Clean captures: cookie banners, ads, trackers and chat bubbles removed first - One element by CSS selector, dark mode, retina pixel density - Pages behind a login, with your cookies or headers - Caching, signed links for public pages, async jobs with webhooks, bulk runs of up to 100 URLs BUILT FOR AI AGENTS A built-in MCP server (take_screenshot, list_devices), an OpenAPI 3.1 file, llms.txt and a markdown version of every docs page. GOOD TO KNOW Public pages work out of the box. For pages behind a login, send cookies or headers with the request. Local and private network addresses are refused on purpose: send the HTML instead and it renders the same way. PRICING Free: 100 screenshots a month, no card. Paid plans from $19 a month for 3,000. One successful render is one screenshot, whatever its size. Failed renders and cache hits are free. 14-day money-back on the first payment. Start at https://curlshot.com
